Watch out for Daddy Holmes

Of course, who ever knows how much of this stuff gets made up or exaggerated upon, but it's still funny to read.

Katie Holmes' dad is said to be "very upset" that his unmarried daughter is pregnant. And he seems none too pleased that Tom Cruise is the father.

Martin Holmes, a devout Catholic, also is upset that his daughter is getting involved in Scientology.

"(Martin Holmes) was very upset and got into a real spat with Katie," the upcoming issue of Life & Style Weekly quotes "a close friend" of Cruise. "Tom had promised her parents that they would do the right thing and get married before any baby came along." After scolding his daughter, Martin Holmes told Cruise, "You're no good."

Oh snap. That doesn't sound like something Cruise is used to hearing.

My hallmate from Calcutta was telling me about this today... sounds pretty bad. Oh, and in other news, Jessica Biel was named "the sexiest woman alive" by Esquire magazine. Sure whatever.
